IGT games in the SlotSpecs database
Built for the casino floor first
The key to reading an IGT slot online is knowing it started life as a cabinet. These games were designed for land-based casinos, which is why many rely on per-line paytables, short feature lists and return settings chosen for physical machines rather than apps. The upside is that they are quick to pick up. The downside is that they are easy to misjudge, and the top award in Cleopatra is the textbook case. History buffs and fans of plain rules will treat IGT as essential. Anyone raised on modern multiplier engines will find it old-fashioned.
The spec sheet for our three IGT titles
SlotSpecs lists three IGT games, and each one highlights a different facet of the studio. Confirmed figures:
| Title | Format | RTP | Volatility | Release date |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cleopatra | Slot | 95.02% | Medium | 8 January 2012 |
| White Orchid | Slot | — | Medium | 10 July 2010 |
| Power Keno | Keno | 94.97% | — | — |
Cleopatra: the line-bet trap
This is IGT’s flagship slot, and its life on physical cabinets predates the online release date in our table. The figure people get wrong is the top award. That 10,000x is measured against the line bet, not the whole stake. Across 20 lines it comes to 500x the total bet, as our review sets out.
White Orchid: lines or ways
Here IGT’s MultiWay Xtra setting comes into play. You can stay on 40 lines, or double your stake to move to 1,024 ways. Our review could find no documented RTP benefit from switching. The change is to the distribution of results, not the return.
Power Keno: the final-ball multiplier
This one descends directly from the company’s early video keno cabinets. It adds a single twist: when the 20th and final ball drawn matches one of your picks, the entire win is multiplied by 4. Our review also points out that the return shifts with the number of spots you choose.
Put the three side by side and a pattern appears. Each game has one feature, explained clearly, and the maths lives in the paytable instead of in stacked modifiers.
The RTP pattern
Neither published RTP on our IGT pages reaches 96%: Cleopatra is at 95.02% and Power Keno at 94.97%. White Orchid has no settled default, since sources disagree and list two versions. With no studio-wide RTP policy published that we can find, we do not extend these figures to the wider catalogue. The trend is still useful to know: games designed for land-based floors often carry lower returns than those from online-first studios.
Fifty years of corporate history
William "Si" Redd founded the business in 1975 under the name A-1 Supply. It was renamed SIRCOMA, from "Si Redd Coin Machines", and afterwards International Game Technology. Video poker, blackjack and keno machines built its reputation, and in 1987 it launched Megabucks, a progressive slot network linked across Nevada.
Ownership has since been reshaped, and the IGT name now belongs to a different entity from the one that was publicly traded until 2025:
- 1 July 2025: Apollo Global Management funds closed their acquisition of Everi Holdings and of the Gaming & Digital business of International Game Technology PLC. According to Apollo, the merged company trades as IGT, is privately owned and is headquartered in Las Vegas, organised into Gaming, Digital and FinTech units.
- July 2025: the old parent, left holding the lottery operations, renamed itself Brightstar Lottery PLC, its SEC filing shows.
The IGT whose games appear on SlotSpecs is therefore the Las Vegas company owned by Apollo funds, not the lottery business.
Players who will enjoy IGT
- Floor regulars who recognise the classics and want to play them free.
- Careful readers, as per-line maths pays off for anyone who studies the paytable.
- Keno fans, with Power Keno among the handful of keno games we list.
If top multiplier or number of features is your main yardstick, IGT is not the studio for you.
What works and what doesn’t
What works
- A well-recorded history and one of the most recognisable back catalogues in the slot world.
- Straightforward games built around a single feature.
- A spread of formats, from MultiWay slots to video keno.
What doesn’t
- Headline numbers can mislead, as the line-bet basis of Cleopatra’s top award shows.
- RTPs on our IGT pages fall short of 96%, and White Orchid’s default remains unconfirmed.
