Two official pages describe Huff N’ Puff CollectR, and they do not agree on its ceiling. That is the most useful thing to know about this release before anything else, so the spec sheet comes first here and the mechanics follow.
The game combines Light & Wonder’s Three Little Pigs franchise with the CollectR system ELK Studios built for its Pirots series. Light & Wonder’s iGaming listing dates the release to 23 April 2026 and credits Elk as the developer. It is not part of our catalogue, but both parent lines are: Pirots 5 on the ELK side and Huff N’ Even More Puff Grand on the Light & Wonder side.
What each official source lists
| Spec | ELK Studios page | Light & Wonder listing |
|---|---|---|
| Max win | 5,000x the bet | up to 10,000x bet |
| Grid | 6×6 with the CollectR mechanic | — |
| RTP versions shown | — | One, at 94% |
| Release date | — | 23 April 2026 |
We could not reconcile the two maximums from anything published so far. Our standing rule for contradictory specs applies: should the game join the catalogue, the max win field will carry a dash until a single figure is confirmed.
The RTP line needs a caveat too. Light & Wonder shows just one version, at 94%, while its listing for Huff N’ Even More Puff Grand shows five, running from 96% to 87%. A single listed version does not prove there are no others, so we read 94% as the only figure published to date rather than the only build in existence.
The ELK half: collectors on an expanding grid
ELK’s page lists the building blocks of this 6×6 CollectR slot: a grid that expands, wilds, symbols that transform, a coin game, plus both a bonus and a super bonus. The Pirots birds are gone and pigs take their place. Each pig travels the grid picking up gems that match its colour, along with any feature symbols, and gems can be lifted to higher levels.
Entry to the bonus works the Pirots way. Three bonus symbols must be collected by the pigs; if a super bonus symbol is among them, the super bonus plays instead. ELK states that the bonus inherits the grid’s size, the progress on the collection meter and any gem upgrades. The X-iter menu returns with five modes, the cheapest a 3x bet giving more than three times the bonus chance and the dearest a 250x bet super bonus.
The Light & Wonder half: frames, houses and the wolf
The franchise’s frame-and-house loop has been rebuilt to suit a collector grid. In the Hat Mania titles, falling hats leave a frame where they land, and a hat dropping onto an existing frame raises its level. During the bonus, the frames gathered and upgraded across the round turn into houses, and at the finish the wolf blows them down to uncover coin prizes.
In Huff N’ Even More Puff Grand that loop runs on a 5×3 reel set, and its frames climb four steps, straw, then stick, then brick, then diamond, ahead of the wolf’s arrival. The CollectR version keeps the closing reveal but ties it to collection progress on the grid.
Two features neither parent had
- Wolf Crane. Picks up symbols, sets off features and picks fights with the pigs. According to ELK, each fight the crane wins pushes its win multiplier higher.
- Golden Wheel. Activated when the pigs or the wolf have cleared every symbol from the grid. A spin of it can land on Hat Mania, Mega Hat Mania, an instant win, the Super Bonus or the Bonus.
Same group, two studios
The crossover is less surprising once ownership is clear. On 1 December 2021, Light & Wonder, then still named Scientific Games, announced it had bought ELK Studios, the developer based in Stockholm. The announcement called ELK an innovative European games developer and framed the purchase as a boost to the group’s original iGaming content.
That makes this game an internal reworking of a sister studio’s franchise, not a licence deal between strangers. ELK’s own site still carries its separate regulatory details, among them a B2B licence issued by the Malta Gaming Authority and a Gambling Commission licence covering Great Britain.
Playing the parent games now
Both halves can be tried today. Pirots 5 shows CollectR in action, and Huff N’ Even More Puff Grand shows the frames, houses and wheels. Each runs free on virtual coins. The slot features glossary defines collectors, cascades and feature buys, while our RTP and volatility guide sets out why a single game can exist in several RTP builds.
