ELK Studios released Bamboo Pandits on 6 October 2026. It is a 5×5 slot with 35 paylines, built around three character pots, the Pandits, that each collect one type of symbol and trigger their own modifier. The bonus moves to a larger 6×6 grid with 44 fixed paylines, and the stated ceiling is 10,000x the bet.
The figure most players will want to check is the RTP, and here the official paperwork matters. ELK’s product sheet lists a range of 87.0% to 94.0%, depending on market and operator. We have seen 96% quoted for this game elsewhere, but that number does not appear in any document ELK has published for it so far.

Three Pandits, three modifiers
The design follows a format that has become common across the industry: special symbols land on the reels, a character above the grid collects them, and a full collection fires a modifier followed by a respin. ELK’s version has three collectors.
- Multiplier Pandit: collects rockets and may add multipliers to random positions before a respin.
- Wild Pandit: collects dumplings and may jump onto the grid as a Big Wild before a respin.
- Mystery Pandit: collects smokebombs and may add Mystery symbols to random positions before a respin.
A Gust of Wind can also fire before any spin, adding several feature or bonus symbols to the reels. Three or more bonus symbols spin a wheel that powers up the bonus game, and any Pandits activated there stay active for the whole round.
The X-iter menu
X-iter is ELK’s name for paid game modes. The product sheet lists five of them for this game.
| Mode | Price |
|---|---|
| Bonus Hunt | 2.5x the bet |
| Mega Hunt | 5x the bet |
| Lucky Wind | 25x the bet |
| Bonus | 100x the bet |
| Maxed Bonus | 250x the bet |
ELK says the cheapest mode gives more than three times the chance of reaching the bonus. As with every buy feature, availability depends on the market, and not every build will show the full menu.
How it compares with Pirots 5
The nearest comparison in our database is ELK’s own Pirots 5. Both are collector games, both use X-iter, and both cap out at the same multiple of the bet.
| Spec | Bamboo Pandits | Pirots 5 |
|---|---|---|
| Grid | 5×5, 6×6 in the bonus | 6×6, growing to 8×8 |
| Top RTP listed | 94.0% | 96% |
| Hit frequency | 25.3% | 25.1% |
| Max win | 10,000x the bet | 10,000x the bet |
| X-iter range | 2.5x to 250x | 3x to 250x |
On hit rate and ceiling the two games are almost identical. The difference is the RTP ceiling. Pirots 5 lists settings from 96% down to 87%; Bamboo Pandits shares the 87% floor but stops at 94.0%. Two percentage points of RTP is a meaningful gap over a long run of spins: it means, on average, 2 fewer units returned for every 100 staked. If a later document from ELK adds a higher setting, we will update this figure.
What it means in free play
A 25.3% hit rate means roughly one spin in four pays something, which keeps a demo session moving even when the Pandits are quiet. ELK places volatility at 6 on its 10-point scale, the middle of its range, so this is a gentler game than the extreme-volatility titles that dominate recent release lists.
For anyone comparing builds, the practical advice is simple: check the RTP shown in the game’s own information screen. With a published range of seven percentage points, the setting in front of you matters more than the headline. Our explainer on RTP and volatility covers why one slot can ship with several settings.
