The numbers in brief: nine squares and a side reel
Strip Fortune Garuda 500 back to its spec sheet and two things stand out. The main grid is tiny, 3×3 with 5 lines. The ceiling is large, 25,000x the bet according to TaDa Gaming. The gap between those two figures is covered by a separate reel on the right-hand side that carries multipliers from 1x up to 500x, plus Nudge symbols that can drag that reel down several times and pile multipliers on top of each other.
TaDa Gaming released the game on 31 March 2026. TaDa Gaming’s game sheet puts the RTP at 97.00%, and its game page rates volatility Medium. The 25,000x cap is twice the 12,500x of the studio’s earlier Fortune Gems 500. For players, the biggest decision is not which symbol to hope for but which betting mode to use: two Extra Bet levels strip the small values off the side reel at a price of 1.5x or 8x the normal stake, and that reshapes what any winning line is likely to be multiplied by.

Main grid pays: small by design
The three main reels are a compact line game. TaDa Gaming lists a 3×3 layout with 5 win lines, paying from left to right. Symbols are said to arrive in stacks, which counts for a lot on a grid this small, because one stack can finish more than one line in the same spin. TaDa’s feature list also names “Full Symbol” next to Multiplier and Nudge, but the official page does not define it, so we do not speculate about it.
Widely reported three-of-a-kind values, as multiples of the bet:
| Symbol group | Value for three |
|---|---|
| Card ranks A, K, Q, J | Between 1x and 5x |
| Gems, three colours | 6x, 7.5x and 10x |
| Wild and Ex Nudge Wild | 25x |
The Wild tops the table at 25x and everything else falls between 10x and 1x. The Wild can land on any of the three main reels and stands in for every symbol, so on a five-line grid one Wild in the middle square can feed every line that crosses it.
Those values are modest deliberately. A best-case three of a kind is 25x. The design passes nearly all of the upside to the side reel and the Nudge sequence, so the main grid is best read as the trigger rather than the payout.
How the side reel multiplies a win
The side reel spins independently next to the grid and holds no ordinary pay symbols. Rule summaries describe its contents as random multipliers and Ex NUDGE symbols, and TaDa Gaming’s news release says it puts multipliers between 1x and 500x onto winning combinations.
Reports agree on eleven values. Grouped by size:
| Band | Values |
|---|---|
| Top | 500x |
| High | 100x, 50x |
| Middle | 25x, 20x, 15x, 10x |
| Low | 5x, 3x, 2x, 1x |
Only one position matters in an ordinary win: every line win is multiplied by whichever value stops in the middle of the side reel. Three values are visible, one is used.
Two consequences follow:
- No line win, no multiplier. TaDa’s page explains that each win pays its line value and may also activate the side reel. A 500x in the middle on a spin without a line win is worth nothing.
- The bottom values are real. At normal stake the middle position can show 1x, which leaves a line win exactly as it was.
Note the hole near the top as well. The values climb to 50x and 100x and then leap to 500x. There is no value in between, so the top multiplier is a single jump, not the final rung of an even ladder.
The Nudge sequence in six stages
This is what separates the game from a plain win-times-multiplier slot. Two symbols drive it: Ex NUDGE on the side reel and Ex NUDGE WILD, usually called the Nudge Wild, on the main grid.
Putting TaDa Gaming’s release together with rule summaries, a sequence runs like this:
- A line win comes first. Neither symbol does anything without one. The Nudge Wild fires when it lands as part of a win or next to one.
- Placement. The Nudge Wild lands on main reels 1 to 3. The Ex NUDGE lands on the side reel.
- A number on the symbol. The figure printed on the Nudge Wild sets how many times the side reel gets pulled.
- Downward steps. Each pull drops the side reel one position. TaDa’s product page shows Garuda seizing the multipliers above and dragging them into place.
- A grab per step. Every value that passes through the middle on the way down is collected, and the collected values combine.
- The stack is applied. According to TaDa Gaming’s release, the grabbed values stack before they act on the total win.
The product page gives a ceiling of 500 GRABs. Launch coverage connects that number to the boosted Extra Bet modes, but TaDa’s own page does not attach it to any one mode, so we read 500 simply as the stated maximum.
One thing is not published: whether the grabbed values are summed or multiplied together. TaDa says “stacking” and leaves the arithmetic undefined, so we assume neither. The rules screen inside the game is where to check how the stack is totalled.
For a player, the takeaway is that a Nudge is not one lucky value. It is several values at once, all aimed at the same line win. That is why the number of grabs matters more than any single number on the side reel.
Gift of Garuda: a random lift on any spin
Gift of Garuda is a modifier that can fire at random on any spin. No special symbol starts it and it adds nothing to the stake.
The documented effects are:
- Better odds of big multipliers. TaDa’s release says it can make high-value multipliers more frequent, and rule summaries add that it can make Ex Nudge symbols more likely too.
- An upgraded side reel result. Per TaDa’s release, it can improve the final value on the side reel.
- A respin of the main reels. TaDa’s release says it can respin the grid to improve the win.
- A stronger final symbol. It can swap the side reel outcome for a higher multiplier.
Certain rule summaries refer to five effects but describe just four, so only those four appear here. The in-game rules have the complete list.
Think of Gift of Garuda as a way of improving a spin that has already landed. It can lift a weak outcome, but nothing published shows it creating a win from a spin that had no line win in the first place.
Extra Bet: paying to raise the floor
Extra Bet is the one control that alters the game’s maths, and its details are better documented than most features. TaDa’s official page says only that it raises the chance of high multipliers. Rule summaries and launch coverage describe both levels in the same way:
| Setting | Spin cost | Values taken off | New floor | Extra effect |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 1x the bet | Nothing | 1x | None |
| Extra Bet 1 | 1.5x the bet | 1x, 2x | 3x | Better odds of high multipliers |
| Extra Bet 2 | 8x the bet | Every value under 15x (1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x) | 15x | Nudge values five times larger |
On the side reel that leaves:
- Standard: all eleven values, from 500x down to 1x.
- Extra Bet 1: nine values, 500x down to 3x. Any winning line is multiplied by 3x or more.
- Extra Bet 2: six values, 500x, 100x, 50x, 25x, 20x and 15x. Any winning line gets 15x or more. This level is also said to lift the minimum Nudge grab values, with Nudge values five times above normal.
The price is the point to weigh. At level 2 every spin costs 8x the base stake, including every spin that produces no line win. Taking the low values away does not make a line win more frequent; it only enlarges the line wins that happen anyway.
Neither level has a published RTP, so whether they change the return cannot be stated. And because the top win is quoted against the bet, nothing published confirms whether the 25,000x cap is measured on the base stake or the larger Extra Bet stake. The info screen should settle it before you rely on either reading.
What it takes to approach the cap
TaDa Gaming quotes 25,000x the bet. A few listings show 5,000x; the studio’s own 25,000x is the figure we use.
The studio does not publish a route to the cap, and we will not invent one. The rules do show the three levers that enlarge a single result:
- Several lines winning together. Stacks can fill more than one of the five lines at once, and the Wild’s 25x is the best symbol value.
- A big value in the middle of the side reel. The highest is 500x.
- Grabs. As many as 500 can pile several multipliers onto one win.
The comparison with Fortune Gems 500 is telling. It shares the 500x top value and a similar Nudge concept, but TaDa caps it at 12,500x. Fortune Garuda 500 doubles that. Since the biggest single value on the reel is identical in both, the extra headroom must come from how line wins and Nudge stacks combine, not from a bigger symbol.
Return and volatility: two labels in circulation
TaDa Gaming’s official game sheet gives a total RTP of 97.00%. Some listings show 97.1%, the figure for the studio’s Fortune Gems 500. Like any RTP, it describes the long run: over a vast number of spins, 97 units come back for each 100 staked. It tells you nothing about a single session.
No lower-RTP build has been published, and the Extra Bet levels have no RTP of their own on record. If TaDa publishes them, they may not match 97%. The info screen shows the setting in use.
TaDa Gaming rates volatility Medium, three of five bars lit. Some listings say Low; we follow the studio.
Both labels have a case. Line wins are small and commonly described as frequent, which points low. But the side reel spans 1x to 500x, Nudges can stack many values and the cap is 25,000x, a long tail that pulls the rating toward the middle. Extra Bet 2 raises the cost of every spin while filtering out small multipliers, pushing outcomes further toward the high end. In short, the volatility you actually feel depends heavily on the mode you choose.
No feature buy, and why that fits
Fortune Garuda 500 has no documented feature buy. The official page lists none, and rule summaries do not mention one.
That suits the design, because there is no separate bonus round to purchase. Nudges need a line win and Gift of Garuda fires at random. The closest thing to paying for stronger features is Extra Bet, which raises the price of every spin rather than buying a single event.
Side by side with Fortune Gems 500
The nearest relative is TaDa Gaming’s Fortune Gems 500, released on 6 August 2025. Both use the “3+1” idea: a small main grid with a multiplier reel attached.
| Fortune Gems 500 | Fortune Garuda 500 | |
|---|---|---|
| Release | 6 August 2025 | 31 March 2026 |
| Grid | 3+1 reels | 3×3 with side reel |
| Highest side reel value | Up to 500x | 500x |
| Nudge | Ex Nudge grabs | Ex Nudge plus Nudge Wild, up to 500 grabs |
| Random modifier | None in TaDa’s release | Gift of Garuda |
| Extra Bet | Removes low multipliers | Two levels |
| Top win | 12,500x | 25,000x |
TaDa’s release for Fortune Gems 500 describes an Ex NUDGE setting off a chain of multiplier grabs, each one building on the last, and an Extra Bet that removes low values to improve the odds of figures like 100x and 500x.
Fortune Garuda 500 keeps that base and builds on it: a Nudge Wild on the grid as well as the Ex Nudge on the side reel, the Gift of Garuda modifier, a documented second Extra Bet level and a top win twice as high. Players who know Fortune Gems 500 will recognise the side reel at once. The difference is the number of routes to extra multipliers.
Who it is built for
- Fans of small, readable grids. Nine squares and five lines take a second to scan.
- Players who like setting their own risk. Extra Bet trades a much higher spin price for a higher multiplier floor.
- Fortune Gems 500 regulars looking for more Nudge routes and more headroom.
- Less suited to anyone who wants free spins or collection features. Everything happens on the ordinary spin.
- Less suited to players who want firm official numbers. TaDa’s page omits the RTP, and some listings disagree with the studio’s volatility rating.
Plus points and drawbacks
Plus points
- Clear side reel rule: the middle value multiplies the line win.
- Grabs can heap many multipliers onto one win.
- Two Extra Bet levels make the risk choice explicit and documented.
- A 25,000x cap, twice that of Fortune Gems 500.
Drawbacks
- Grid wins are small, peaking at 25x for three Wilds.
- Extra Bet 2 makes every spin eight times dearer, losing spins included.
- No RTP on TaDa’s official page, and volatility labels vary by listing.
Fortune Garuda 500 questions
What RTP does Fortune Garuda 500 run at?
TaDa Gaming’s game sheet gives 97.00%. Confirm the active setting on the in-game info screen.
How high can a win go?
TaDa Gaming caps it at 25,000x the bet.
Which values sit on the side reel?
Eleven in total, from 500x at the top through 100x, 50x, 25x, 20x, 15x, 10x, 5x, 3x and 2x down to 1x. Line wins use whichever value stops in the middle position.
What does a Nudge do?
It needs a line win first. Then an Ex Nudge or Nudge Wild drags the side reel downward several times, each step grabbing a multiplier, and the grabbed values are stacked before being applied. TaDa’s page gives a maximum of 500 grabs.
What can Gift of Garuda change?
It is a random modifier available on every spin. Its documented effects are better odds of big multipliers, an upgraded side reel result, a respin of the main reels and a swap to a stronger final outcome.
How do the Extra Bet levels differ?
Level 1 costs 1.5x the bet and takes 1x and 2x off the side reel. Level 2 costs 8x the bet, takes off everything under 15x and, by wide report, makes Nudge values five times larger.
Is the game highly volatile?
No. TaDa Gaming rates it Medium, while some listings say Low. Playing at Extra Bet level 2 shifts results toward the high end.
What separates it from Fortune Gems 500?
Both have a side reel topping out at 500x and Nudge grabs. Fortune Garuda 500 adds a Nudge Wild, Gift of Garuda and a second Extra Bet level, and its cap of 25,000x is twice the 12,500x of Fortune Gems 500.
